Herbal Medicine Field School - Our Base
(for the 9 month program)

Herbal Medicine Program - Our Base and indoor classroom is the secluded and magical Indian Hot Springs, just north of Safford, Arizona.  The Hot Springs on this private and historic property are considered by many to be the most medicinal in the Southwest.  Imagine, after spending the day exploring for plant medicines and learning the art of herbal medicine... you come home to Hot Springs and the largest Hot Water swimming pool in the Southwest!

This magical oasis is central to as many as 150 medicinal & edible plants found in the nearby mountain and desert ecosystems.   Many of these, we will experience during our 9 months together.

Our location is a very central driving destination from many of the urban areas in the Southwest.  Example: Tucson 2.5 hrs, Phoenix 3 hrs, Silver City 2.15 hrs, Las Cruces 3.5 hrs (Approximate driving times).
