Herbal Medicine  Summer School - The Experience

We will be travelling together through the Mogollon and White Mountains of Southern New Mexico and Arizona.  We will begin our field week at The Bear Creek Herb Store in Silver City, New Mexico. Here we will take a tour of the "awesome"  medicinal plant gardens right behind the herb store.

Afterwards, we will begin our journey into the Mogollon Mountains of New Mexico, where we will experience the great variety of medicinal and edible plants that will be abounding this time of the year.

During this week long trip we can expect to experience over 50 medicinal and edible plants. Information will be intensive all week long with Herb Talks and Walks.

This 7 Day Field School covers: 

• plant identification

• medicinal plant usage (for at least 50 medicinal plants)

• ethical field collecting

• medicine making in the field

• wild edibles ( maybe mushrooms too!)

• Herbal 1st Aid

• ...and a lot more.

This is one of the BEST  times to be in these mountains learning about medicinal and edible plants...
