Herbal Medicine Summer School - The Program

This intensive one week program has been designed to bring you all the information you need to further your voyage into the world of herbal medicine.  

Here is a week long camping field trip. We will be exploring the high country of Southern New Mexico and Arizona. During this trip we will be camping out at various sites to take herb walks and ethically gather plant medicines. In a year where the "rains" have been good to us... we could expect to see and learn about 50+ Herbal Medicines during this week. Many of these Plant Medicines can only be found in late summer.

The student must provide their own dependable transportation, camping equipment, and food. They must be self-contained. Approximate driving mileage during this field trip will be around ~300 miles.  We will meet at Bear Creek Herbs in Silver City, New Mexico on August 12th at 10 am.  More details will be given upon approval and registration.

Teaching Weeks:

Our School is looking for students who desire a unique and powerful Herbal Medicine experience.  People who can commit themselves in going through a doorway that is both educational and exploratory in nature.  Students who want to be part of this Oral tradition of Herbal Medicine and who want to help preserve this timeline, by becoming an Herbalist to the World in which they live...
